Robotic Gasket Operator

Job Description
FabHR is looking for a Robotic Gasket Operator to join our manufacturing operations in Ottawa, Ontario. In this hands-on role, you'll operate and maintain robotic equipment used to apply gaskets to various products. You'll be part of a supportive team focused on efficiency, safety, and quality.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate robotic gasket machines safely and efficiently Load and unload materials as needed Inspect products for quality, consistency, and accuracy Perform routine maintenance, cleaning, and machine start-up/shutdown procedures Create, modify, and verify CNC (G-code) programs Troubleshoot and rework defects; escalate to supervisors when necessary Follow all company procedures and safety protocols Maintain production records and communicate with supervisors Support additional tasks within the facility as required
Qualifications & Skills:
Experience in manufacturing, automation, or robotic systems (preferred, not required) Engineering Technologist diploma or equivalent experience is an asset Familiarity with hand tools and measurement devices Basic understanding of numerical control/CNC machinery Strong attention to detail and quality standards Strong communication skills Able to stand for extended periods and lift moderately heavy items Willing to work flexible shifts if needed
