Robot Operator

to join our team in the Fraser Valley.

Responsibilities:

Program and maintain robotic welding machines for a range of welding tasks Stop machines to remove finished parts or to change tooling, setup, or part placement, according to required machining sequences Lift parts to machines manually or with hoists or cranes Monitor machine operation and control panel displays and compare readings to specifications to detect malfunctions Mount, install, align, and secure tools, attachments, fixtures, and parts on machines, using hand tools and precision measuring instruments Insert control instructions into machine control units to start operation Review program specifications or blueprints to determine and set machine operations and sequencing, finished part dimensions, or numerical control sequences Daily production flow requirements Jig storage and documentation Minor fixes to bad welds or welds that can't be reached

Qualifications:

High school or equivalent Previous work experience Forklift certification/Overhead Crane certification

Skills:

Critical Thinking - Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings Knowledge and experience in basic MIG welding Team building skills Computer skills; Excel, Word, Email Safety Procedure Adherence Quality Control Analysis - Conducting tests and inspections of products, services, or processes to evaluate quality or performance Operation and Control - Controlling operations of equipment or systems Must be able to lift 10lbs to 50lbs.

Pay: $22.21-$39.24 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
