Who are we?

Rainbow Youth Centre provides a comprehensive program of activities and services aimed at helping young people prepare for the transition from adolescence to a healthy and productive independent adult lifestyle.

What you will be doing:

Working under the supervision of the Program Supervisor, the Road to Employment Co-facilitator, in keeping with the policies, and philosophies of Rainbow Youth Centre will assist with the planning, implementation, administration and evaluation of the Road to Employment Program. This consists of a comprehensive life skills program along with CAEC preparation, driver training and employment skills and placement components.

What you will need:

2 years relevant education and or experience in human services/education services. Knowledge and or experience in facilitation in the CAEC. Testing will be done in mathematics and English. Life skills coach, group facilitation skills/knowledge of group dynamics and asset. Experience working with youth ages 18 to 25. Experience with working in a cross cultural environment/experience providing group and individual counselling and support. Ability to work as a team player. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Must hold a valid drivers license. Basic knowledge of community resources is required.

Remuneration:

Starting wage is $ 25.63 plus a comprehensive benefits package.
