Job Description
Mainroad North Island Contracting LP is currently seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual to join our team as a Road Foreman. In this position, you will be responsible for a wide range of Foreman duties including, organizing, scheduling, assigning and coordinate the work of a Road Crew. Qualifications:
High School Diploma (or equivalent) is required. Class 3 Driver's License with air brake endorsement and a clean driver's abstract is required. Five (5) years' experience in road maintenance is preferred. Previous supervisory experience. Thorough knowledge of the Motor Vehicle Act and Regulations*.
Performance Skills:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work shifts (including night shift, if required) Ability to work call-outs, weekends and overtime, if required Willing to work in extreme weather conditions Capable of performing heavy physical labour Able to work within a team environment Dedicated and committed
