Road Construction Labourer

Job Description
Responsibilities:
Able to work outside in all types of weather. Travel required Mon-Fri - must be available for long hours and over-night stays. Hours may vary depending on the season. Physically fit and able to lift 50 lbs regularly. Perform a wide variety of jobs and duties as assigned. Follow all directions and instructions provided by Foreman and Supervisors. Ensure working tools are used properly, treated with care and returned. Report any issues to Foreman. Accountable for proper and timely reporting of accidents, near misses, first aid, and any incidents to Foreman.
Qualifications:
1+ years labour experience preferred, ideally in construction.
Valid G Licence - REQUIRED
Must be reliable, punctual, and responsible. An energetic team player who can work well and communicate with others. Able to work year round in all types of weather, which may involve muddy, slippery, wet or icy surface conditions.Immediate Start - Benefits available through union after 3 months.
Pay Starts at $25/hr, increasing to $27.50/hr at 3 months or sooner.
