We are seeking a dynamic individual with strong interpersonal skills to join our team as RN.

Reporting to Medical Director and clinic manager, you will work closely with our specialist physicians and healthcare practitioners in coordinating and assisting in various aspects of clinical operations and practices. The Successful candidate will:

- Provide direct nursing care for patients, including appropriate supportive care and administration of treatment prescribed

-Perform nursing assessments and triage of patient care needs for new and ongoing patients.

- Provide education to patients, families, and significant others

- Document patient vitals accurately and in a timely manner, in accordance with CNO and clinic standards

- Verify patient records are accurate and up-to-date and is responsible for ensuring patient consent forms have been completed

- Perform procedure set up, assists with C-arm equipment use, equipment disinfection, procedure room after-care, and maintains adequate supplies and inventory for the clinic

- Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and clinic policies, this always includes adhering to patient privacy and confidentiality.

- Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

- May train and guide other nursing and support staff engaged in clinical activities; may participate in research and related activities.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the College of Nurses

- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certificate, level C

- Valid First Aid and CPR Certificate

- Proven efficiency and ability to work in a fast-paced environment, strong attention to details

- Understanding of CPSO OHP standards

- Ability to perform nursing assessments and patient triage

- Patient assessment and referral skills

- Proficient in IV initiation and management an asset

- Experience with infusions and image-guided interventions an asset

- Experience operating a c-arm is an asset

- Experience working in pain management is an asset

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $37.47-$45.05 per hour

Expected hours: 24 - 40 per week

Work Location: In person
