C-Care Health Services is looking for a Registered Nurse (RN) or Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) to be assigned to one of our client located in

Port Union, Scarborough

Must be available to work full-time hours and overnight shifts

Scope and Responsibilities

Provide personalized nursing care to the client and attend to their specific needs. Assist client with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as toileting, grooming and mobility. Reassess the client regularly and ensure that the care plan is updated and is still aligned with the client's needs. Monitor client condition and observe any changes in their overall health. Administer medications according to the prescribed dosages and schedules. Ensure the accuracy of the medication being administered while monitoring the side effects and allergies. Educate the client about their prescribed medications. Assist with wound care and implementing appropriate wound care strategies. Provide emotional support and reassurance to the client. Adhere to standard precautions such as proper hand hygiene and use of personal protective equipment as needed.

Minimum Qualifications

Successful completion of a Nursing Diploma program At least 1 year of experience as an RN/RPN Certificate of Competence for Registered Practical Nurse from the CNO BLS or CPR (HCP) Certificate Experience with wound care and tube feeding is an asset. Good verbal and written English communication skills
