Are you ready to contribute to a healthcare legacy that makes a difference?The Registered Nurse in the Dialysis Unit, is responsible for the comprehensive, coordinated and individualized care of patients with chronic kidney disease requiring hemodialysis treatments. The Registered Nurse is an active member of the multidisciplinary team that provides care to the patient and families across the Regional Program.The satellite unit of Orillia Soldiers Memorial Hospital regional dialysis program provides dialysis treatment and support to patients receiving hemodialysis who reside in the North Simcoe area. The satellite unit is a nine-station dialysis unit at 611 Prospect Boulevard.QUALIFICIATIONSThe ideal candidate will possess the following key competencies, record of experience and academic preparation:

• Current certificate of registration in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Must be compliant with College of Nurses quality assurance standards
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (B.C.L.S.)
• 3-5 years current medical/surgical experience
• Demonstrated ability to use critical thinking and problem solving skills to ensure positive patient outcomes
• Demonstrated skill in establishing positive client/provider relationships
• Demonstrated ability to work independently within an interdisciplinary team framework
• Demonstrated teaching and patient advocacy skills
• Demonstrated satisfactory work performance and attendance history

• Bilingual - English and French
• CNeph certificate
• 3-5 years\' current hemodialysis experience in an acute care setting and or a satellite unit.

• Hourly rate of pay $39-07 - $56.00, up to an additional 14% in lieu of benefits and 6% in lieu of vacation to start.

HOURS OF WORKPermanent Part Time. Shifts include days, evenings and weekends.
