Job Summary

This position of IV Nurse will be part time on Tuesday from 8AM to 5PM and Thursday from noon to 5PM. The IV nurse will review Doctor's instructions, mix IV bags, monitor patient vitals and ensure safe administration of IV and IM therapies. Training will be provided from our current nurse (who works on Mon, Wed, Thurs AM) to improve knowledge and expectations with the use of integrated medicines and nutritional therapies.

Competencies:

Infusion therapy and injection skills are a must. CPR certification is a must. Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to work independently with little supervision as part of a team. Effective organizational skills, charting skills and attention to detail. A willingness to grow and learn with our Integrative Medicine Clinic. Main priorities are patient safety and comfort as they receive IV therapy.

Physical Demands:

This is an office position that requires bending, reaching, lifting up to 25 lbs and occasional patient assisting support.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $38.00-$42.00 per hour

Expected hours: 13 per week

Experience:

Intravenous: 1 year (preferred)
