Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our wellness team. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of various massage techniques and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Massage Therapist, you will play a vital role in enhancing the well-being of our clients through therapeutic touch and personalized care.

Duties

Conduct thorough client assessments to determine individual needs and preferences. Perform various massage techniques, including Swedish, deep tissue, and sports massage, tailored to each client's requirements. Maintain a clean and organized treatment area, ensuring all equipment is sanitized and ready for use. Educate clients on the benefits of massage therapy and recommend follow-up treatments as necessary. Keep accurate records of client sessions, including treatment plans and progress notes. Collaborate with other wellness professionals to create comprehensive care plans for clients. Uphold professional standards of ethics and confidentiality in all interactions with clients.

Qualifications

Valid state licensure or certification in massage therapy is required. Strong knowledge of medical terminology to effectively communicate with clients and healthcare providers. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients quickly. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to ensure clear understanding between therapist and client. Previous experience in a spa or clinical setting is preferred but not mandatory. A commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with industry trends. Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $20.00-$98.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 40 per week
