Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of medical terminology and demonstrate exceptional customer service skills. As an RMT, you will play a vital role in providing therapeutic massage services to clients, helping them achieve relaxation and relief from pain.

Duties

Conduct thorough assessments of clients' needs and health history to develop personalized treatment plans. Administer various massage techniques, including Swedish, deep tissue, and sports massage. Maintain accurate client records and document treatment progress. Educate clients on the benefits of massage therapy and provide recommendations for ongoing care. Ensure a clean and safe environment for clients by adhering to hygiene and sanitation standards. Communicate effectively with clients to understand their concerns and preferences, ensuring a positive experience.

Requirements

Valid certification as a Registered Massage Therapist with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario. Proficiency in medical terminology to communicate effectively with clients and healthcare professionals. Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed. Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with industry trends.
