Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Air Curtain Incinerator (ACI) Operator / Heavy Equipment operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience operating heavy equipment, primarily excavators. Heavy equipment may also include front-end loaders, skid steers, graders, and other pieces of equipment.

Essential Job Functions

Operating heavy equipment in a safe, proficient and timely manner. Basic daily maintenance of operating equipment. Convey any maintenance concerns to the Equipment Supervisor. Operate and maintain air curtain incinerators in compliance with environmental and safety regulations. Load and manage burn materials using heavy equipment. Monitor combustion efficiency and adjust airflow as needed. Follow site-specific protocols and communicate effectively with team members.

Required Qualifications and Abilities

A minimum of 1 years operator experience. Must have a valid Driver's License (Driver's abstract required.) Must be able to work outdoors in various weather conditions. Must have the attention span to maintain constant focus on tasks. Must be able to work in potentially hazardous environment with exposure to variety of physical and environmental conditions. Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends if needed
