Job Description
:Job OverviewWeatherford is seeking a skilled and experienced Repair and Maintenance Technician to join our team based out of our Paradise, Newfoundland and Labrador facility, . The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a wide range of equipment and machinery used in our operations.Requirements
- Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on various types of equipment, including pumps, compressors, generators, and other mechanical systems.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions and breakdowns.
- Replace worn or defective parts and components.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inventory of spare parts.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and procedures.
- Assist with the installation and commissioning of new equipment as required.
- Experience with Liner Hanger and other tools of the trade is a plus/preferred.
- Experience in a similar role, preferably in the oil and gas industry.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
- Familiarity with various tools and equipment used in maintenance and repair work.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to safety and adherence to safety protocols.
