We are seeking a skilled and safety focused
Rigger/Class1 Driver
to join our team. This position combines driving responsibilities with rigging and labour support. The successful candidate will operate Class 1 vehicles to transport material and equipment, and also assist with rigging, loading/unloading, and onsite labour tasks.Key Responsibilities
Safely operate Class 1 commercial vehicles to transport equipment and materials. Assist with rigging, lifting, and securing loads using proper techniques. Perform loading and unloading duties, ensuring cargo is properly secured. Set up and dismantle rigging gear as required. Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections, reporting maintenance issues. Follow all safety procedures, company policies, and transportation regulations. Support general yard and labour duties when not driving.
Requirements
Valid
Class 1 Driver's License
with clean abstract. Claims Experience Letter Previous experience in rigging, heavy hauling, or general labour preferred. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in outdoor/industrial environments. Strong safety awareness and attention to detail. Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or with a team.Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Apprenticeship
Pay: $27.00-$35.00 per hour
