Therapeutic Riding Instuctor

to join our team as we continue to grow and strengthen our accredited therapeutic riding program.

This role is a true "all-hands-on-deck" position - perfect for someone who loves variety, teamwork, and the chance to make a real difference in the lives of others.

What you'll do

Teach

adaptive/therapeutic riding lessons

for children, youth, and adults of all abilities Support

lesson preparation

and

barn operations

, including horse care and facility upkeep Assist with the

training, care, and development of therapeutic horses

Work closely with volunteers, staff, and rider to ensure lessons are

safe, professional, and fun

Promote an inclusive, supportive environment that reflects PARDS' mission and values

What we're Looking For

Knowledge and/or experience working with people with disabilities or diverse needs Solid horsemanship skills; minimum

Rider Level 2

(or equivalent experience) Current

First Aid/CPR Certification

Willingness to pursue

CanTRA Instructor certification

(support and mentorship provided!) A team player with a positive attitude, adaptability, and a genuine love for horses and people

Details

Location: PARDS Therapeutic Riding Centre - Grande Prairie, AB Hours: Part-time/Full-time (evenings/weekends may be required) Compensation: Commensurate with experience and qualification
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $17.00-$21.33 per hour
