responsibilities

Reporting to the Senior Supervisor Talent Acquisition, the incumbent participates in the design and application of the recruitment policy and is responsible for the selection and hiring for all of Canadian Royalties Inc.\'s requisitions. He/she will also arrange interviews and coordinate with the department\xe2\x80\x99s supervisors. More specifically, the Talent Acquisition Advisor will:

  • Establish relationships of trust and accountability with clients, discuss their recruiting needs and work out requirements with them to fill vacancies. Support and advise managers and supervisors on recruitment policies and procedures.
  • Manage the complete recruitment cycle:
  • Identify the current and the future needs,
  • Write, correct, and modify job descriptions as needed,
  • Publish job offers internally and externally on the company\'s website, on social platforms, on other suitable websites and pages and act to explore other means of distribution.
  • Transfer the CVs received by email to its appropriate folder.
  • Analyze and screen applications, communicate with candidates, conduct interviews, administer the psychometric test, coordinate reference and background checks and, negotiate job offers, send hiring documents and coordinate onboarding new employees.
  • Promote the employer brand and represent CRI at external events.
  • Monitor performance indicators related to recruitment and provide a report on the progress of mandates.
  • Optimize processes and procedures and suggest areas for improvement.
  • Performs all other related tasks requested by the supervisor.



Qualifications
  • Minimum of 4-7 years of experience in talent acquisition in an agile environment;
  • Experience in the mining field;
  • Bachelor\'s degree in Human Resources or Industrial Relations or equivalent;
  • Excellent Ability to manager several files simultaneously;
  • Excellent knowledge of interview practices, attraction, selection, and Job boards;
  • Excellent knowledge of the MS Office suite;
  • French and English bilingualism (spoken and written);
  • Someone resourceful, motivated, and passionate about people, recruiting, and good communication skills.

  • Knowledge of the Predictive Index tool.
