1 drivers license

3yrs experience

in Heavy Haul Division.

-Experience in

RGN Double drop trailers and Step deck

trailer with ramps.

-Hauling

heavy equipment and Over Dimensiona

l loads.

-

Clean drivers abstract

.

-Experience in

oversize, overweight loads, and permits.

.

-Comply with all transportation

laws and regulations

. federal and provincial.

-Experience with working and communicating with

Pilot/Escort trucks.

-Work effectively with

minimal supervision.

-Maintain a

clean truck and trailer.

-Knowledge of

Canada, USA routes/lanes.

English speaking and writing is a MUST

Responsibilities

Operate commercial vehicles to transport freight over long distances, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, routes taken, and any incidents that occur during transit. Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding delivery schedules, road conditions, and any issues that may arise during transport. Load and unload freight as necessary, utilizing forklift equipment when required. Perform basic automotive repairs and maintenance on the vehicle to ensure optimal performance during long hauls. Ensure that all cargo is secured properly to prevent damage during transit.

Skills

Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid commercial driver's license (CDL). Strong knowledge of freight handling procedures and regulations. Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently. Basic automotive repair skills for troubleshooting vehicle issues on the road. Proficiency in using forklifts for loading and unloading cargo. Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines. Strong communication skills for effective interaction with team members and clients.
