The Role



We are seeking a skilled

RF Application Engineer

with solid experience in the installation, repair, and debugging of RF equipment. The successful candidate will play a key role in deploying and supporting our technology across customer sites, exhibitions, and demos. This role will primarily be based at our Montreal headquarters. Regular travel to customer sites for installation and troubleshooting of equipment is required. Frequency of travel is estimated to be once per month.

Key Responsibilities



Lead the installation and debugging of RF equipment in the field (customer sites, exhibitions, demos). Regularly interface with the internal team at INLAN, with external partners, and with customers. Contribute to the development of new RF systems, both as part of an internal team and also through collaboration with external partners Diagnose, repair, and troubleshoot RF systems and components, both at our headquarters and in the field. Collaborate with the engineering team to provide feedback from field deployments. Act as the main point of contact for technical support during installations.

Qualifications



B.S. (Or comparable college degree) in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or Physics. Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in an RF field. Strong hands-on expertise with RF equipment such as spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, oscilloscopes, and filters. Proven experience in the installation, debug, troubleshooting, analysis, and repair of RF systems as well as general electrical and mechanical equipment and systems. Demonstrated failure analysis experience. Hands-on electrical circuit test and troubleshooting experience of analog, digital and mixed signal systems. Proficiency with mechanical and electrical assembly and disassembly and repair as needed to troubleshoot systems. Enthusiasm, interest, and motivation to continue to gain knowledge and experience in the field. Hands-on disposition Must be a Canadian citizen. Flexibility to travel multiple times per year.

Pay: From $75,000.00 per year
