Role
Description
The Revenue Specialist, reporting into the Revenue Administration Manager, is responsible for managing non-standard residential rental transactions. Liaising with internal and external partners, the Revenue Specialist will be responsible for end-to-end processing of received orders affecting current residents. The Revenue Specialist will suggest and assist the Revenue Administration Supervisor and Manager with process and technical enhancements when identified. All duties will be completed while upholding QuadReal's mission, vision, and values serving as a brand and cultural ambassador.
Revenue Specialist is responsible for the following
duties:
Support & preparation of relevant files for Above Guideline Increase (AGI) and Additional Rent Increase (ARI) filings
Liaise with Accountants, Capital Team, Investment Management & Paralegals to analyze and apply requested and awarded ARI/ARI's
Action all pending and approved governed AGI/ARI orders
Maintain accurate entry of accounts receivable transactions, lease documents, renewals, tenant information, and adjustments utilizing Yardi software
Process all Resident charges as applicable
Account for all cash transactions related to resident accounts
Review and aid in rental discrepancies with Property M anagers - i.e. large accounts receivable balances, outstanding write-offs, etc.
Create correspondence to residents, working with the site for resident delivery
Work closely with the Accounting department to ensure month ends are properly invoiced and accounting related questions are properly answered
Identify and recommend process improvements in the Residential Property Administration workflows
Support Revenue Administrators across the portfolio
Experience and Qualifications:
Two years' relevant experience and post-secondary education preferred
Experience in Residential Real Estate is an asset
Ability to analyze and interpret Company policies and procedures as well as relevant Acts and Legislation
An energetic self-starter with a willingness to learn
Advanced Microsoft 365 skills with a proficiency in Excel and Word
Knowledge of Yardi Voyager is an asset
Team-oriented with the ability to develop and sustain cooperative working relationships
Attention to detail, high degree of accuracy and strong adherence to established deadlines
Organized and efficient with strong multi-task skills and the ability to work under pressure with limited supervision
Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills
Positive, friendly, professional and customer service oriented
Ability to think logically and solve problems
Excellent oral and written communication skills
