Overview

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Weekend Retail Sales Associate to join our dynamic team. We are a kayaking / paddle board / water sports retailer! Experience and or interest in these fields will be preferred!

In this role, you will be the face of our brand, providing exceptional customer service while assisting customers with their purchases. You will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming shopping environment and driving sales through your product knowledge and interpersonal skills.

Duties

Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs. Operate the cash register, handle transactions accurately, and process payments efficiently. Conduct product demonstrations to showcase features and benefits, enhancing customer engagement. Maintain an organized and visually appealing sales floor by restocking shelves and arranging merchandise. Utilize time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during busy periods. Communicate product knowledge clearly to customers, answering questions and providing recommendations. Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and ensure a positive shopping experience for all customers. Assist in inventory management by tracking stock levels and reporting discrepancies as needed.

Experience

Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred but not required. Ability to demonstrate products effectively through engaging product demos. Excellent organizational skills to maintain store standards and manage time efficiently. Familiarity with technical sales or retail environments is advantageous but not mandatory.
