The Retail Manager oversees all aspects of store activities ensuring that the location delivers a superb customer experience, operates to Glory's brand and operational standards, and achieves budgeted sales and profitability objectives. In this key role you will help build the Glory brand and support our mission; Nourishing Our Community.
Responsibilities
Directly take orders, prepare food, and serve guests
Proactively educate guests and team members on the flavour profile, nutritional qualities, and health benefits of Glory products
Optimize profits by controlling key variable costs of food, beverage, labour, waste, and other controllable expenses
Manage daily inventory and orders for food, juice, and retail products to maximize sales, control discounting, and reduce spoilage
Hire, train, schedule, manage, and develop a high performing team to ensure an exceptional guest experience as detailed in our brand strategy and measured by Compliance Reports, Guest Surveys, and other Customer Feedback sources
Execute corporate marketing & promotions, store merchandising, and local community events
Achieve customer data-base goals for Glory's Loyalty Rewards and Newsletter subscriptions
Ensure store compliance with brand, product, customer service, food safety, cleanliness, and occupational health and safety standards
Ensure strict adherence to cash control policies and procedures
Submit sales and operations reports in daily / weekly recap
Complete monthly inventory, invoicing, and other operational reports
Order supplies, manage store maintenance vendors, equipment maintenance and repairs, and complete administrative duties as required
Provide prompt, professional, and personal resolution to customer issues
Maintain a commitment to ongoing personal development including product knowledge, sales, team leadership, and operations
Actively connect with and build relationships with key influencers in the community
Qualifications
Proven experience in retail management with strong supervisory skills.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead a team effectively.
Proficiency in POS systems, cash handling, bookkeeping, and basic math skills.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of merchandising, pricing strategies, purchasing, and inventory control.
Experience in recruiting, training & development, and team management.
Demonstrated leadership capabilities with a focus on customer service excellence.
Ability to handle administrative tasks including payroll, budgeting, and marketing initiatives.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $37.00-$39.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32 - 40 per week
