Your Role:

The Retail Manager oversees all aspects of store operations ensuring that the location operates within Glory\xe2\x80\x99s brand, customer experience, and operational standards, while achieving budgeted sales and profitability objectives.

In addition to recruiting and leading a high performing team, the Retail Manager takes an active front line role in food preparation and serving customers. Reporting to Glory\xe2\x80\x99s corporate Business Development Manager, you will help build the Glory brand and support our mission; To nourish our community.

Responsibilities:

  • Optimize profits by controlling key variable costs of food, beverage, labour and other controllable expenses.
  • Manage daily inventory and orders for food, juice, and retail products to maximize sales, control discounting, and reduce spoilage.
  • Hire, train, schedule, and develop team membersto ensure efficient operation and guest satisfaction. Prepare and conduct individual performance reviews.
  • Hands on food preparation and delivery of an exceptional guest experience.
  • Ensure store compliance with brand, product, customer service, food safety, cleanliness, occupational health and safety standards.
  • Execute promotions, store merchandising, corporate marketing initiatives, and local community engagement events.
  • Build customer loyalty and achieve customer data-base acquisition targets for Newsletter subscriptions and Social Media followers.
  • Manage the team to deliver an industry leading guest experience as detailed in our brand strategy and measured by Compliance Reports, Guest Surveys and other Customer Feedback sources. Provide prompt, professional, and personal resolution to customer problems.
  • Ensure strict adherence to cash control policies and procedures
  • Produce sales and operations reports using POS system and store manager daily / weekly recaps
  • Actively connect with and build relationships with key influencers in the community
  • Complete administrative duties as required
  • Maintain a commitment to ongoing personal development including nutrition, product knowledge, sales, team leadership, and operations.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee must be willing and able to operate all equipment and software. May be required to taste and smell the products. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Compensation: Based on experience

Job Type: Full-time

This position is a 1 Year Contract with possibility of extension and growth into a permanent position.
