Job Description

Key ResponsibilitiesLeadership & Staff Management

Supervise, support, and motivate all store staff Create and manage efficient weekly staff schedules Train new employees and ensure adherence to store standards and procedures Provide ongoing coaching, feedback, and performance management Resolve staff issues and maintain a positive, productive work environment Lead recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and employee development Conduct performance reviews and support succession planning Act as a brand ambassador and promote company culture
Store Operations

Prepare orders and maintain accurate inventory levels

Receive deliveries, verify shipments, and assist with unloading products

Organize stock efficiently in storage areas and on sales floor Ensure shelves are fully faced, organized, and visually appealing Maintain correct and up-to-date price tags; complete weekly price changes and pricing sweeps Set up promotions and in-store signage (POP) as required Check and remove expired or near-expired products daily Work as a cashier when needed Maintain a clean, organized, and customer-ready store at all times
Customer Service

Lead by example to ensure consistent delivery of customer service standards Coach and follow up with staff to ensure excellent customer experience Handle and resolve customer concerns professionally, in-store and online Support customer acquisition through loyalty and promotional programs
Financial, Loss Prevention & Compliance

Handle cash and follow proper cash-out procedures Track daily sales and report discrepancies Support annual inventory preparation and execution Monitor shrink and enforce loss prevention, audit, cash handling, and OH&S policies Suggest operational and performance improvements
Marketing & Community Engagement

Manage and post updates on the store's Facebook page Respond to customer inquiries online Support in-store promotions and special events
Requirements

3-5 years of retail experience required

; management experience preferred Proven leadership, coaching, and team development skills Strong organizational and communication skills Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Reliable, motivated, detail-oriented, and hands-on Ability to assist with physical tasks such as unloading deliveries Basic computer and social media skills High energy, enthusiasm, and a strong drive to succeed
