Position: Store Manager
We're searching for an enthusiastic and organized
Store Manager
to lead our retail team in creating a welcoming, engaging space for customers and vendors alike. If you're passionate about local products, love building community, and thrive in a fast-paced retail environment -- this could be the perfect fit!
What You'll Do
Lead, motivate, and support a team of retail associates to deliver an exceptional customer experience.
Oversee scheduling, training, and performance management.
Manage daily operations including budgeting, cash handling, deposits, and opening/closing procedures.
Monitor sales goals and drive results through creative merchandising and team engagement.
Maintain accurate inventory and ensure products are attractively displayed and restocked.
Handle customer questions and resolve any concerns with professionalism and care.
Collaborate with head office on promotions, marketing, and store initiatives.
Ensure the store meets all health, safety, and operational standards.
Foster a fun, positive workplace that reflects our "shop local" values!
What You Bring
A love for handmade, small-batch, and local products.
Strong leadership and communication skills -- both written and verbal.
Ability to juggle multiple tasks while keeping calm and focused.
A warm, authentic approach to customers and coworkers.
Excellent attention to detail and a high level of personal accountability.
Team-oriented mindset with a drive to achieve store goals.
Experience & Skills
Minimum
5 years
in retail, sales, and customer service.
At least
2 years
in a supervisory or management role.
Proficiency with POS systems, debit/credit processing, and inventory software.
Comfortable using technology (iPad, Bluetooth, wireless printing).
Working knowledge of Excel and email communication.
Familiarity with Shopify and website management.
Experience with Corel Draw and/or social media content creation is an asset.
Schedule & Details
30-40 hours per week
Positions available at
Lawson Heights
and
Midtown (Saskatoon)
Weekday availability required, with some weekends during mall hours
Compensation:
$17-$18/hour (based on experience)
