Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Retail Store Manager to lead our team and drive the success of our retail operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for customer service, and a proven track record in retail management. As the Retail Store Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, managing staff, and ensuring an exceptional shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

Lead and motivate a team of retail associates to achieve sales targets and deliver outstanding customer service. Oversee daily store operations including inventory management, merchandising, and visual displays. Manage recruiting, training, and development of staff to enhance their skills and performance. Implement effective sales strategies and promotional activities to drive store sales. Handle payroll processing, budgeting, and financial reporting to ensure profitability. Maintain accurate records of sales transactions, cash handling, and bookkeeping activities. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures as well as health and safety regulations. Foster a positive work environment through effective communication and team management. Utilize negotiation skills to manage vendor relationships for purchasing inventory. Monitor pricing strategies to remain competitive in the market while maximizing profit margins.

Requirements

Proven experience in retail management or a similar role with strong supervisory bexperience. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on building relationships with customers. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. Proficient in POS systems and cash handling procedures. Solid understanding of merchandising principles and marketing strategies. Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus for enhancing customer interactions. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with effective phone etiquette. Ability to analyze sales data and make informed decisions based on performance metrics. Familiarity with administrative tasks including budgeting, payroll processing, and time management. A background in sales management is preferred along with experience in training & development initiatives.
