We are seeking a motivated and experienced Retail Store Manager to oversee daily operations at our retail location. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for customer service, and the ability to drive sales while managing a team effectively. This role requires an individual who can maintain high standards of store presentation and ensure a positive shopping experience for all customers.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage store operations, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. Provide exceptional customer service to enhance the shopping experience and resolve any customer issues promptly. Drive sales through effective merchandising, promotions, and team motivation. Conduct interviews and hire new staff members, providing training and ongoing development to ensure team success. Manage payroll processes and maintain accurate records of employee hours worked. Oversee inventory management, including ordering stock, conducting regular audits, and minimizing shrinkage. Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork, communication, and employee engagement. Analyze sales reports and market trends to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.

Skills

Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse clientele. Bilingual abilities are a plus for enhancing communication with customers. Proven sales experience with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets. Proficient in interviewing techniques to select the best candidates for the team. Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Strong math skills for handling transactions, inventory management, and payroll calculations. Experience in team management, fostering collaboration among staff members to achieve common goals. Familiarity with retail clerk duties including cash handling and customer assistance.
