As the Store Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving sales, managing employees, and overseeing day-to-day operations. Your leadership and retail expertise will contribute to the success of our store. Responsibilities:
Sales Growth:
Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and achieve revenue targets.
Analyze sales data, identify trends, and adjust merchandising and promotional efforts accordingly.
Foster a customer-centric environment to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Team Management:
Recruit, train, and mentor a team of sales associates.
Set performance goals, provide regular feedback, and conduct performance evaluations.
Ensure excellent customer service by coaching staff on product knowledge and sales techniques.
Operational Excellence:
Oversee inventory management, including stock replenishment, stocktaking, and minimizing shrinkage.
Maintain visual merchandising standards and ensure the store\xe2\x80\x99s appearance is inviting and organized.
Collaborate with the head office on pricing, promotions, and product launches.
Scheduling and Staffing:
Create employee schedules, balancing staffing needs with business demands.
Manage time-off requests, shift changes, and employee availability.
Address staffing gaps and ensure adequate coverage during peak hours.
Financial Accountability:
Monitor expenses, control costs, and optimize store profitability.
Prepare and analyze financial reports, including sales performance, payroll, and budget adherence.
Qualifications:
2-3 years of retail store clothing experience in a managerial role.
Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
Proficiency in using point-of-sale (POS) systems and inventory management software.
