Overview


We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Store Manager to lead our retail operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a comprehensive understanding of retail management. This role involves overseeing daily store activities, managing staff, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving sales performance. Prior supervisory experience are highly valued to foster an inclusive and efficient shopping environment. The Store Manager will play a pivotal role in maintaining store standards, implementing marketing strategies, and achieving business goals.

Duties



Lead and supervise store staff, including recruiting, training, and developing team members to ensure high performance and excellent customer service Manage daily store operations, including merchandising, pricing, inventory purchasing, and POS transactions Oversee cash handling procedures and administrative tasks to ensure accuracy and compliance Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets while maintaining optimal product presentation through effective merchandising Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints promptly, and ensure a positive shopping experience Implement marketing initiatives to attract new customers and retain existing clientele. Conduct regular staff meetings to communicate goals, expectations, and updates on policies or procedure Ensure adherence to safety standards and company policies at all times Able to lift upto 40 LB

Experience



Enthusiasm for learning & growth in pet care industry Possess outgoing and friendly personality with strong customer service skills Ability to work as scheduled to meet attendance requirements, which include weekends and evenings Ability to have reliable means of transportation to and from the store Observe and coach employees to provide feedback around sales techniques and providing excellent customer service Capacity for understanding inter-team conflicts and escalating when necessary Working knowledge of POS system Ability to lift 50lbs repetitively Industry experience an asset Proficiency in POS systems, cash handling, bookkeeping, and administrative tasks.
