Retail Store Manager

Job Description

As Store Manager at LORDON, you play a key role in driving the success of the store through effective leadership, strong operational oversight, and a commitment to exceptional customer experiences. You will oversee daily operations, manage and motivate staff, achieve sales targets, maintain merchandising standards, and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to;

Sales and Financial Management



Develop and implement sales strategies to meet or exceed targets.

Analyze sales data and trends to forecast performance and maximize profitability.

Manage store budgets, monitor expenses, and maintain financial records.

Oversee all cash handling procedures, including daily deposits and petty cash management.

Staff and Operations Management



Hire, train, supervise, and motivate store staff.

Create and manage schedules, oversee payroll, and ensure smooth daily operations.

Maintain compliance with company policies, health, and safety standards.

Foster a positive, professional, and team-oriented work environment.

Customer Service and Visual Merchandising

Deliver and uphold exceptional customer service standards.

Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally and efficiently.

Maintain strong visual merchandising and promotional displays to reflect LORDON's brand.

Coordinate store events and promotions to drive engagement and sales.

Inventory and Stock Control



Oversee receiving, pricing, and displaying of merchandise.

Monitor stock levels and manage inventory to minimize loss.

Coordinate with other store teams and management for stock replenishment.

Implement markdowns and promotions accurately and in line with policy.

Training, Performance, and Compliance



Conduct regular performance reviews and support employee development.

Identify training opportunities and encourage professional growth.

Ensure compliance with company, legal, and safety regulations.

Follow security and theft prevention protocols.

Reporting and Communication

Prepare and share regular performance and sales reports with senior management.

Communicate effectively with staff and leadership to align on store goals and updates.

Contribute to continuous improvement in operations and team performance.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 40 per week
