We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Store Manager to lead our retail team and oversee the daily operations of our store. The ideal candidate has a strong background in retail management, a passion for customer service, and the leadership skills to drive both sales and staff engagement.
Duties
Supervise, train, and motivate staff to provide exceptional customer service and adhere to company standards.
Manage day-to-day operations, including cashiering, inventory control, scheduling, and administrative duties.
Conduct interviews, hire new employees, and facilitate ongoing staff development and performance evaluations.
Develop and implement in-store marketing strategies to drive sales and increase customer engagement.
Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing store environment.
Utilize POS systems effectively for sales transactions, reporting, and inventory tracking.
Communicate effectively with both team members and upper management regarding store goals, performance, and operational challenges.
Requirements
Proven experience in retail management or a supervisory position.
Strong knowledge of cashiering and POS systems.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to manage scheduling, and administrative tasks with accuracy.
Experience in staff training and development is preferred.
Knowledge of marketing and promotional strategies to drive sales is an asset.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Professional phone etiquette and customer service focus.
Proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
