THE OPPORTUNITY: Stewart Farms, a wellness-focused cannabis company, is on the hunt for a Retail Store Coordinator to lead our Farm Gate Dispensary team and manage day-to-day operations. As the Retail Store Coordinator, you will be on the front lines of our business, speaking with customers and educating them on our product as well as safe usage. You will be responsible for working collaboratively with the leadership team to oversee, maintain and supervise day-to-day operations activities of Stewart\'s Herbal Dispensary. We need someone who is outgoing and self-motivated as this is a high-pressure, fast-paced work environment, so buckle up and hold on tight! We need someone who can think on their feet, pivot quickly, and keep a sense of humor about it all (because we\'re a fun bunch!). Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily retail store operations (Farm Gate Dispensary), including inventory management, sales, customer service, store cleanliness, reporting and organization.
  • Maintain store compliance with all local, provincial and federal regulations. Organize and communicate all required reporting, paperwork, and tracking system recording.
  • Maintain and curate store inventory; cannabis, accessories, etc.
  • Assist in building a weekly staff schedule
  • Train new team members on work procedures so they know what is required to do a great job.
  • Report sales data to management.
  • Monitor product; ordering, placement, and presentation while working with marketing to raise awareness and increase sales.
  • Using our point-of-sale system to ensure customers check out properly.
  • Answering potential customers\' questions
  • Upselling products and services.
  • Diligent cash handling
  • Represent the legal cannabis industry in a positive manner; Be an engaged member of the local cannabis community
Requirements:
  • High school diploma/GED.
  • Previous experience in cannabis industry preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Prior retail and merchandising experience
  • Strong passion, knowledge and understanding of cannabis products and how they can be utilized.
  • Familiarity with inventory management systems (COVA) and point-of-sale software considered an asset.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Good organizational skills and the ability to multitask.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Strong listening and sales skills.
  • Maintain all required certifications to work at a cannabis retail location (we provide you with this after being hired).
