Duties

Greet customers warmly and provide outstanding customer service to foster a welcoming shopping atmosphere Assist customers in selecting products, offering detailed product demos to highlight features and benefits Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for sales transactions, cash handling, and receipts processing Upsell products and accessories by understanding customer needs and recommending suitable options to maximize sales opportunities Maintain attractive merchandising displays and ensure shelves are well-stocked, organized, and appealing Conduct stock replenishment activities including stocking shelves and managing inventory levels efficiently Handle cashiering duties with professionalism, including processing returns, exchanges, and refunds while adhering to cash handling procedures Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when answering inquiries or providing assistance remotely Support the store's overall operations through basic math calculations for transactions and inventory management Engage in product demos to educate customers about new or featured items, enhancing their shopping experience Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth store operations and achieve sales goals

Experience

Prior retail sales experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is essential Supervising experience is a plus, demonstrating leadership skills and the ability to guide team members effectively Bilingual abilities are highly valued to serve a diverse customer base more effectively Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling, retail math, and merchandising techniques is advantageous Excellent communication skills are necessary for engaging with customers confidently and professionally Experience working in a grocery store or similar retail environment is beneficial but not mandatory Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately in fast-paced situations Strong phone etiquette skills to handle customer inquiries courteously over the phone

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.20-$18.00 per hour
