We're looking for a motivated

Retail & Operations Associate

(student-friendly, part-time to full-time) to support our growing fitness equipment business. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working in a dynamic environment, assisting customers face-to-face, and keeping store operations running smoothly. You'll also play a key role in supporting our outside sales team and ensuring an exceptional customer experience.

Responsibilities

Assist with

retail store operations

, including opening/closing, maintaining a clean and organized showroom, and providing in-store customer support.

Service walk-in customers

by answering questions, recommending products, and processing sales. Handle

shipping & receiving

of orders, including unpacking deliveries, organizing inventory, and preparing outbound shipments. Support the

outside sales team

by organizing orders, coordinating deliveries, and maintaining communication with customers. Provide excellent

customer service

, both in person and over the phone/email. Maintain product knowledge of fitness equipment and accessories to better assist customers. Track and update order statuses, ensuring customers are informed and expectations are managed. Assist with store promotions, events, and light marketing activities (e.g., social media posts, in-store demos). Collaborate with the sales team to create a seamless customer experience across retail and commercial channels.
Qualifications

Previous

retail, customer service, or operations experience

is an asset (but not required--training provided). Strong

communication and people skills

with a customer-first mindset. Highly organized with attention to detail, especially in shipping/receiving and order handling. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Proactive, reliable, and willing to learn. Passionate about

fitness and health

is a strong advantage. Basic computer skills; experience with POS systems or CRM software is an asset. Ability to lift and move fitness equipment (with support) as part of day-to-day tasks.

Pay: $40,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
