We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Retail Sales Manager to lead our team in delivering exceptional customer service and achieving sales targets. The ideal candidate is responsible for leading and optimizing retail sales operations for adapted vehicles and equipment across Atlantic Canada. This role manages the day-to-day activities of the retail department, drives sales growth through strong stakeholder relationships, and ensures exceptional customer service delivery. The position also requires hands-on involvement in operational tasks, inventory management, and coordination with internal and external partners to deliver effective mobility solutions tailored to client needs, and ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers.
Duties & Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
Advance sales of adaptive vehicles and equipment through engagement with end users, therapists, auto dealers, case managers, government agencies, and non-profits.
Maintain high level of product knowledge and training. Out of city travel may be required.
Provide product knowledge, training, and support to prescribing authorities across Atlantic Canada.
Attend and represent the company at community events and trade shows.
Inventory & Operation Management
Manage inventory, including sourcing, ordering new and refurbished vehicles.
Arrange pickup/delivery of vehicles to and from conversion providers.
Assess trade-ins and manage pre-owned inventory.
Oversee rental fleet operations, including checking vehicles in/out and coordinating client delivery as required.
Book installation appointments, ensuring product/ parts readiness
Customer Engagement & Sales Support.
Respond to leads via phone, email, social media, and text.
Manage online listings through company websites, marketplace, and auto traders.
Deliver vehicles to clients across NB, NS, PEI, and coordinate shipping to NFLD.
Conduct final quality checks on installation and repairs and perform delivery walkthroughs with clients to ensure satisfaction.
Field incoming service requests and coordinate with the repair department.
Financial & Administrative Responsibilities
Collaborate with finance providers to process payments, acquire customer information and extended warranty sales.
Handle administrative tasks such as receivables, invoicing, sales reporting, ensuring repairs and modifications are billed and warranty credits issued, and switching over vehicles at SNB.
Submit month-end reports and ensure accurate billing.
Maintain showroom cleanliness and presentation
Leadership & Staff Management
Supervise retail staff, ensuring training is up to date
Manage scheduling, time-off requests, and communication with HR
Ensure departmental goals and service standards are consistently met
Hands-On Operational Support
Assist with vehicle detailing, snow removal, troubleshooting, and client pickups
Transport vehicles for repair and maintenance as required.
