Seeking a dynamic and customer-oriented Retail Sales Associate to join our team.

The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing exceptional customer service and will have a strong ability to engage with customers, understand their needs, and recommend products that enhance their shopping experience. This role requires excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment.

Duties

Welcome and greet customers, ability to engage in conversation. Provide knowledgeable assistance with product selection. Process transactions efficiently using the POS system, handle exchanges and transaction adjustments, while ensuring accurate cash handling. Maintain an organized and visually appealing sales floor. Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly with professionalism and courtesy. Help with maintaining inventory levels and assist with stock replenishment as needed. Demonstrate strong time management skills by prioritizing tasks effectively during busy and slow periods. Uphold company policies regarding rules and guidelines, performance expectations, phone etiquette and customer interactions.

Qualifications

High school diploma required. On-the-job training will be provided. Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to converse in English. Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately. Experience with cashiering duties and cash handling procedures. Excellent organizational skills to manage inventory and maintain store appearance. A proactive approach to upselling products based on customer needs. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required.
