Responsibilities

Greet customers warmly and provide assistance in selecting products that meet their needs. Engage with customers to understand their requirements and recommend appropriate products. Utilize upselling techniques to enhance customer experience and increase sales. Maintain knowledge of current promotions, sales, and product features to effectively communicate with customers. Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system accurately for transactions and returns. Assist in maintaining store appearance by organizing merchandise and ensuring displays are well-stocked and appealing. Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly while maintaining a positive attitude. Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and enhance overall customer satisfaction.

Requirements

Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail. Excellent phone etiquette for handling customer inquiries over the phone. Presentable clothing and footwear attire for front & back of store Ability to stock and move/lifed boxes and investory Ability to sell effectively by understanding customer needs and recommending suitable products. Familiarity with fine wine and craft beer sales is a plus, particularly in understanding product specifications and features. BC Drivers licence A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn new skills are essential for success in this role.

Pay: $18.00-$19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 per week
