Retail Sales Associate

Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Greet customers in a friendly, professional manner Operate the cash register and process transactions (fuel, in-store products, lotto, etc.) Maintain a clean and organized store environment (sweep, mop, wipe counters, clean washrooms, etc.) Stock shelves, coolers, and display areas with products Monitor inventory and inform management of low stock or expired items Perform fuel pump checks and ensure safety protocols are followed Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and food handling standards Assist with opening and closing duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Previous retail or customer service experience preferred (gas station experience an asset) Strong communication and interpersonal skills Comfortable handling cash, card payments, and POS systems Ability to work independently and in a team.
Physical Requirements
Able to stand for extended periods Able to lift and carry up to 30 lbs Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
