Overview

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Retail Sales Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be the face of our brand, providing exceptional customer service and assisting customers in finding the right products to meet their needs. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, a passion for sales, and the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clientele.

Duties

Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products within the store. Provide knowledgeable information about products, including features and benefits, to help customers make informed purchasing decisions. Process transactions accurately using the Point of Sale (POS) system, ensuring efficient cash handling and adherence to company policies. Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, ensuring merchandise is well-displayed and stocked. Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and enhance overall customer satisfaction. Utilize time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks during busy periods. Stay updated on new products to effectively communicate with customers.

Qualifications

Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred but not required. Experience including fuel/gas station, general merchandise, and agricultural supplies is an asset. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail. Proficient in cash handling and operating POS systems. Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment. Ability to communicate clearly and persuasively with customers, fostering positive relationships.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.00-$18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 - 40 per week
