Summary

We are seeking a Full-time Retail Sales Associate to join our team in providing exceptional customer service at our retail storefront. This role is vital in supporting our mission of 'Working Hand in Hand to Educate' by assisting customers with their educational supply needs. Our customer base is primarily teachers, early childhood educators, and daycare supervisors. We do have parents from time to time. There can be an opportunity for to move from an associate to a retail manager position.

Responsibilities

Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner. Have a genuine interest or passion in working within the educational industry Process sales transactions accurately using point-of-sale systems. Maintain knowledge of products and services to provide informed recommendations. Handle cash and manage financial transactions securely. Assist with merchandising, labeling products, and maintaining store displays. Address customer inquiries and resolve issues effectively. Up-sell products to enhance customer satisfaction and sales performance. Collaborate with team members to achieve store goals. Picking sales orders Stocking, organizing and tidying shelves Maintaining cleanliness of the retail storefront and associated areas An opportunity can exist to go on displays and trade shows

Qualifications

Proven experience in retail sales or customer service. Experience in the educational industry is considered a strong asset. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to handle cash transactions accurately. Familiarity with point-of-sale systems is preferred. Excellent time management and organizational skills. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment. Bilingual or multilingual abilities are an asset.
