Responsibilities

Greet customers warmly and assist them with their shopping needs Operate POS systems efficiently for sales transactions, returns, and exchanges Conduct product demos to educate customers about features and benefits Upsell products and promote store promotions to maximize sales opportunities Maintain visual merchandising standards to ensure attractive displays Stock shelves, organize merchandise, and manage inventory levels through regular stocking Handle cashier duties including cash handling, basic math calculations, and balancing registers Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly Assist in supervising store operations when needed, including supervising staff during shifts Maintain phone etiquette when communicating with customers or vendors

Qualifications

Previous retail sales experience preferred, especially in grocery stores or similar environments Strong communication skills and friendly demeanor Experience with POS systems, cashiering, and retail math required Knowledge of merchandising, stock management, and product demos beneficial Excellent customer service skills with a focus on upselling and enhancing the shopping experience Supervising experience is a plus but not mandatory; leadership qualities are valued Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment Basic math skills necessary for cash handling and transactions Professional phone etiquette and effective communication skills
