Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Retail Sales-Skin-Beauty Consultant Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion or interest in natural skincare, wellness and clean beauty, who thrives in customer service spaces and the ability to engage with customers effectively. As a Retail Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing an exceptional shopping experience, assisting customers with their personal needs, and driving sales through upselling and product knowledge.

Responsibilities

Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products within the store. Provide personable and knowledgeable product and makeup recommendations and upsell products to enhance the customer experience. Apply makeup on clients that are interested in trying on makeup before purchasing (you will be trained in this) and making sure they are getting the correct shades (colour matching their skin tone). Demo and apply skin and body care products from our product testers. Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system for transactions, ensuring accurate cash handling and basic math calculations. Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, ensuring products are well-stocked and displayed attractively. Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to ensure satisfaction. Stay informed about product features, promotions, and technology sales to effectively communicate with customers. Able to work independently. Making daily social media stories and posts online. Searching for potential new wholesaler accounts online. Website management and inventory count (you will be trained on this).

Qualifications

Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is mandatory. Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Proficiency in cash handling and basic math skills for accurate transaction processing. Excellent customer and communication skills, with a desire to build meaningful connections with clients and customers. Ability and desire to learn about new and existing products. A friendly demeanor with a strong commitment to providing outstanding customer service. Social media savvy or willing to learn. Computer skills or comfortable learning simple computer website support.
