Job Description

We are seeking a Part-time or Full-time Sales Associate to join our team at Beck Antiques and Jewellery. The Sales Associate will be responsible for assisting customers in finding and purchasing unique and high-quality antique items, while maintaining a clean and organized sales floor. The ideal candidate will have a passion for antiques, strong customer service skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Along with antiques you will learn about coins, jewellery and gemstones, military memorabilia, and so much more!

Responsibilities:

Greet customers and assist them in finding and purchasing antique items Educate customers on the history and uniqueness of each item Manage and maintain a clean and organized sales floor Assist with inventory management and pricing Buy antiques, jewellery, and many other interesting items for stock Process sales transactions and handle cash and credit card payments Maintain a positive and professional attitude when interacting with customers and team members Assist with other duties as assigned by the store manager
Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent Previous retail sales or customer service experience preferred Passion for antiques and knowledge of antique items and history Openness to learning new skills Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Working Conditions: This is a part-time/ full-time position that requires working on weekends, evenings, and holidays. The Sales Associate will work on the sales floor and may be required to lift and move heavy items.
