Job Overview:

We are seeking a Retail Sales Associate to join our team at McLaughlin Meats at our Olds location. (must available for shifts 9:30 am - 6:30 pm Tuesday-Sunday) Hours vary from 30-40 hours per week. Must be available to work during the Christmas and New Years weeks

Retail Associate

Will have a passion for customer service and sales, with excellent communication skills and a flair for upselling. If you enjoy engaging with customers and have a great attitude, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

Greet customers and provide exceptional service throughout their shopping experience. Assist customers in finding products that meet their needs Serve customers at our fresh meat counter Answer the phone and take orders Operate our cash registers, general cash handling Cleaning and organizing of the store on a hourly basis Stay up-to-date on all store products and cuts of meat Restocking and facing the products regularly
Please Note - This is a fast paced work environment with repetitive lifting. You must be physically able to work on your feet all shift, walking on cement floors, lifting and dealing with a cold environment.

Qualifications:

- Strong communication skills to effectively engage with customers

- Prior experience in customer service, sales, or retail is an asset

- Ability to upsell products and maximize sales opportunities- Fluency in English is required
