As a Store Associate at SPCA Thrift Stores, you are to provide excellent customer service, sort incoming product, receive, sort and price donations and assist the Store Manager and Key Holders in the maintenance of all store operations.
Ideally you have some knowledge of fashion, have retail experience and are excited by thrifting!
Responsibilities and Duties:
Must report for work at scheduled time, ready to perform work duties, and remain on task while completing the entire scheduled shift.
Acknowledge customers and assist with their shopping needs.
Provide fast, efficient and accurate checkout service.
Maintaining a neat and orderly sales floor, dressing rooms and check out areas.
Answer the telephone in a professional manner.
Receive, assist, and thank guests for their donations.
Process the incoming donated items in a timely fashion. Processes include: sorting, hanging, tagging, steaming, cleaning, displaying and properly disposing of donated items.
Price items according to established guidelines.
Replenish product.
Cleaning and organizing.
Assist the Manager or Key Holders with completing daily tasks.
Assist the Manager or Key Holders with front door and back door issues such as donations that were left and the upkeep of the dumpster.
Assist the Manager or Key Holders with opening and closing duties.
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Other Requirements:
Must have a smartphone and be willing to use apps such as Google Lens to perform daily duties.

Pay: From $21.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 - 30 per week
