Were doing something different here - were always looking to improve, always striving to get better, and were looking for the right people to join us.The primary task of a Sales Associate is to ensure that customers have an enjoyable shopping experience at the Prince Edward Island Preserve Company. The customers first impression of our company is often made as he/she enters the Gift Shop door, so please welcome them with a warm smile, eye contact and greeting.As a Sales Associate, you will be expected to:

• Provide excellent customer service at all times by welcoming customers and assisting them with product choices.
• Keep the store tidy and clean and well-stocked.
• Professionally complete cash and card sales and payments
• Maintain a professional appearance
• Be well informed about products, store specials and events
• Communicate efficiently with colleagues and management
• Carry out other duties as assigned by the supervisor

The personal skills that are required for the job:

• Exhibit a friendly, helpful, confident personality
• Able to stand for long periods and to lift up to 10 kgs
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Understands and promotes the companys goal To appeal to all of the senses - taste, smell, sight, sound and touch - in a way that expesses a celebration of life.

Part-time hours: 35-40 per weekSalary: $15.00 per hourShift:

Ability to commute/relocate:

• New Glasgow, PE: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
