Seeking customer service focused individual to assist Maritime families in shopping maternity, baby and children's goods. Our ideal candidate is service-driven, organized and a team player, ready to assist in the day to day aspects of an independent storefront. This includes on the floor sales, receiving stock, merchandising, and processing online orders. Work in the vibrant North End of Halifax with a small, supportive team in a fast paced environment that focuses on celebrating expectant parents and families with young children. Qualifications: - Your experience working in a retail and/or customer service setting with a problem solving, can-do attitude - Detail oriented enthusiasm; You enjoy delivering consistency, accuracy and presentation with products and service. - Thrilled by the art form of merchandising, and understand the balance and pause that happens when customers are in store. - Love the benefits of organic or natural products and appreciate all that goes in to making a product or toy high quality, safe and effective - Share a natural sales ability that is both relatable and personable - Eagerly available to work weekends and some weekdays - Quick learner aptitude; you love soaking up knowledge and sharing how it is applicable to other?s needs - Thoughtful listener and effective communicator - You believe answering the phone and posting on social media are equally easy interactions with customers and potential customers - Able to lift 30lbs and carry a heavy box up a flight of stairs. *Accommodations for only occasional lifting can be made.
