About the role:

We are seeking a passionate and customer-oriented Retail Sales Associate to join our team. As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for creating a positive shopping experience for customers, helping them find the perfect pieces for their homes, and providing expert advice on our furniture and home decor collections. Specifically, you will be responsible for:

Provide exceptional service by greeting customers (in person or over the phone), answering their inquiries, and offering assistance with product selection to ensure a personalized shopping experience. Maintain an in-depth understanding of our furniture products, including features, benefits, and materials, to effectively explain options to customers and make tailored recommendations. Drive sales by actively engaging with customers, identifying their needs, and encouraging add-on sales of accessories or related products. Assist in maintaining the store's visual displays to ensure furniture is well-organized, clean, and appealing to customers. Help with restocking merchandise, tracking inventory, and ensuring the sales floor is adequately stocked and organized. Assist with accounts receivable as required Manage customer follow-ups regarding product availability, deliveries, and special orders to ensure satisfaction and maintain customer relationships. Handle customer purchases, returns, and exchanges Work closely with fellow team members and management to meet store sales goals and create a welcoming, positive environment.

About you:

We are looking for a customer focused sales associate who is passionate about helping our customers find their perfect piece.

This role will require:

Excellent communication skills Customer focused approach Sales experience preferred, but not required Active and valid driver's license Flexibility to work Saturdays and Sundays Intermediate computer knowledge
This role will require the successful candidate to work part time (20h/week), including Saturday and Sunday. The days off will be agreed between the candidate and the company.

Salary

: This role initially offers a flat monthly salary of around $3000 for the first three months. On successful completion of the probationary period, this role will be moved onto a 100% commission-based salary structure.
