About the Role:

We're looking for an enthusiastic University or High School Student to join our Edmonton team. This part-time position is ideal for someone who loves the outdoors, has a knack for problem-solving, and enjoys connecting with people to help them gear up for their next big trip.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Assisting customers in finding the perfect products for their vehicles and lifestyles.
• Installing vehicle racks, cargo boxes, and other accessories.
• Supporting inventory management, including restocking and organizing.
• Learning and sharing knowledge about our wide range of products, from bike racks to rooftop tents.

Hours & Schedule:

• Part-time schedule: Saturdays, 9:30 AM to 5:00 PM, from September to April
• Full-time schedule: Shifts increase to full-time hours from May to August (5 days a week, including every Saturday, with workdays from 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM on weekdays and 9:30 AM to 5:00 PM on Saturdays).
• The position returns to part-time (Saturdays only) when school resumes in the fall.

Benefits & Compensation:

• Starting wage: $17 to $19 per hour , depending on experience.
• Summer Bonus Program available after one year of employment.
• Lunch provided to employees each Saturday during their shift.
• The company is closed on Sundays and Holidays .

Minimum Qualifications:

• At Racks for Cars, we value education, and our team reflects this commitment. Many of our team members hold or have held degrees in Commerce, Business, or Engineering.
• Applicants must be currently enrolled in or accepted into a program at the University of Alberta or MacEwan University.
