Remenyi House of Music is a specialty retailer in the GTA focusing on pianos, stringed instruments, guitars, and print music. Our 135-year old family business values committed, dedicated and knowledgeable staff with a desire to deliver above & beyond our clients' expectations.

We are seeking a part- or near full-time associate for the stringed-instrument department at our midtown Toronto location. This is a rare opportunity for a

violin player

with previous sales or customer service experience. The successful candidate will enjoy building & nurturing client relationships, thrive in a small team environment, and be willing to build on our past with an eye to the future.

This role entails:

Serving the demanding musical public in-store, over the phone, and through written channels Processing all types of transactions with attention to detail Ensuring showroom and warehouse areas are maintained to an orderly & attractive standard
Qualifications:

Well-rounded, preferably post-secondary music background Fluent, polished English language communication & customer relations skills Shares in our mission to provide first-class service to musicians and music educators Availability to work retail hours & occasional time if required Previous service industry or music education experience is considered a strong asset
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Expected hours: 24 - 30 per week
