Finders Seekers Thrift Store in Sardis is looking for an enthusiastic and dynamic part-time sales associate to join our team.

The right applicant has three to five years experience in retail and customer service. This person is warm and friendly and is willing to go the extra mile to help assess our customers' needs, help them find what they are looking for, and offer helpful suggestions.

You must be available to work flexible shifts throughout the week, including mornings and/or afternoons and Saturdays and/or Sundays.

The job is perfect for someone who loves hands-on work, with many different tasks each day. It is best suited for someone who is a flexible thinker, who enjoys multitasking and who can take direction on prioritizing which tasks to complete in a given shift.

You are a team player and you are able to collaborate with others on processing, pricing, and displaying merchandise.

You are also a self-starter and can work independently and take initiative on a variety of tasks.

You are physically able to lift boxes, help carry and move cumbersome and sometimes heavy merchandise, and you are willing to use a ladder to hang pictures or handle overhead stock.

You can work with cash and operate a debit/credit machine and cash register. Training will be provided for the system we use.

You are able to do online research and engage with social media, responding to customer queries or posting on our pages.

Duties include: sorting through donations, researching and pricing merchandise, keeping the store clean and tidy, merchandising and organising items and keeping them in their proper place, ensuring store displays are shoppable and look great, greeting and assisting customers in the store and online, handling cash transactions, posting online ads on socials media.

We are open 7 days a week 10:00am to 5:00pm.

Given the hours of the position, we encourage applicants who have completed their high school studies.

Starting wage $17.85.
